If you are using public transport, we offer a courtesy car service to Troviggiano where a regular bus service runs between Macerata and Cingoli. There is a regular connection from Cingoli to Jesi with train connections to Ancona and the airport. From Macerata there are onward bus connections to major Italian cities including two buses per day to Rome and train connections to the mainline stations at Ancona and Fabriano. you are driving, we are some 25 minutes from the A14 autostrada and some 30 minutes
drive south-west from Ancona/Falconara international airport.

'il
sorger del sole' is located in Le Marche approximately 15 minutes drive from the
beautiful medieval city of Macerata. Le Marche is in central Italy and to the west is bordered by Tuscany and Umbria. We are approximately 2
hours drive from Bologna, 3 hours drive from Florence and 3 hours drive from
Rome. We have mystical sunrises across to the Adriatic and 'il sorger del sole'
translated means 'sunrise' or in Italian 'the rising of the sun'. We are situated on a little used white country road
half way between the villages of Avenale and Troviggiano; both are within walking distance.
This modern
airport with new passenger terminals has direct
flights, regular connections with other Italian cities and is
also serviced by low cost airlines such
as Ryanair, Airdolomiti, Carpatair and Evolavia. Other neighbouring airports include Bologna (Marconi and
Forli), Rimini and Pescara. Car hire is available at the airports & also in
the main towns. 
The
nearest ferry terminal is in Ancona (45 minutes drive) check out the regular
sailings to and from Albania, Croatia and the Greek Islands.
